Privacy

This page explains how the Lab uses browser storage, local files, hosting requests and advertising services.

Your words and browser storage

The application processes pasted lists, decks, notes and activity answers in this browser. It does not upload them to a product database or API. IndexedDB stores decks, drafts, collected entries, sessions and temporary print jobs. Small preferences use localStorage, and tab-specific draw history uses sessionStorage. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to access local lists; they are not an encrypted personal vault.

Files and clearing data

Downloads are generated locally. You decide where to save them and how to transfer them. Imports read your chosen file locally. Backup excludes Trash and temporary print jobs. Settings offers scoped clearing, Trash and full-data deletion; browser settings can also remove local data. Clearing decks does not withdraw advertising consent.

Static hosting requests

The browser requests site documents, scripts, fonts and bundled content from the site’s origin. A hosting provider may log request information such as IP address and user agent under its own retention policy. No separate client product-analytics SDK, dictionary API or AI service is included.

Advertising and consent services

Eligible public pages may use Google AdSense and Google Privacy & messaging. These services can use cookies, device and request information, and related storage for advertising and consent. Google’s processing is described in Google’s advertising policies.

Own-list, deck, workspace, session, print, settings, kids and informational/legal pages load no automatic advertising or consent scripts. Private list contents are not deliberately placed in ad requests, metadata or public tool DOM. Third-party scripts loaded elsewhere on the same origin have browser privileges; ad-free routing is not an absolute technical isolation guarantee.

Advertising privacy choices

Reject applicable optional purposes or change choices using the configured consent manager. Tool access stays free. This page loads the consent manager only when you request it.
